The Fund for International Service Learning (FISL) announced the recipient of its Fall 2009 scholarship: Christopher Newport University undergraduate Katrina Thralls. This coming Spring, Katrina will attend a service learning program in Kolkata, India through the International Partnership for Service Learning.

In Katrina’s own words: "My personal goals are to grow as a person and to help people to the best of my abilities. I needed a study abroad program that fell in line with these goals."

FISL is honored to support Katrina and others like her who participate in service learning programs across the world.
